Steven Tyler shared information about his first ever solo album this week. We’re All Somebody From Somewhere arrives July 15th. Tyler produced the record along with help from T Bone Burnett (Elvis Costello, Steve Earle), Dan Huff (Keith Urban, Maddie & Tae), and others. Well-known Nashville songwriters Chris DeStefano, Rhett Akins, the Warren Brothers and Hillary Lindsay also contributed.

“I believe y’all are gonna listen to this stuff and you’re gonna agree with me that it fell from a star,” the singer told Rolling Stone Country. “I had nothing to do with this shit, it’s just Nashville. There’s something so magical about this town and me writing with all these people.”
“Country music still plays stuff with melody,” he continued. “I have a sorcerer’s grasp of melody, I like to think. I’m a freak for that, so thank God they’re still playing it in country.” Check out Tyler's recent single below.
